I figured it would be nice to run in my new tyres.

Unfortunately for me, I just didn't have enough power to keep up with the SW20 on the faster sections, but I felt confident that during the slower and tighter sections, I could close the gap. Unfortunately we ran into some traffic at the tight sections and Danial had a scare with a loose exhaust flex section so we cruised up the remainder of the way to the checkpoint.
It was a real nice drive. Danial took up my suggestion the previous TT to use smaller tyres to increase his "final drive" to utilize most of the powerband (he was complaining that he was out of his powerband in 3rd). Looks like the change paid off.
Given this would be the 2nd heat cycle for my Paradas, I suppose they should be ready for use.
Front wear
Rear wearNot bad so far. Given that the Paradas are quite soft with soft sidewalls. I had the front up to 38psi and the rears at 35. Quite high for a car weighing in at 1 tonne but I like it this way.
